Dear Diary,
It was at first quite akward. Lennie was keen of doing work, but I was not so. We then met with Slim. He was at first unfriendly, but after a while, he came and talked to me. He asked a few questions, Ofcourse Lennie kept quiet the whole time.
After a few days, we met Carlson. He wanted Candy to shoot his old dog with a gun. Candy was so reluctant to do because he said that he had the dog for quite some time. After what Carlson had told him he was willing to release him to Carlson. Candy was very sad. I tried to console him and it worked. I was telling him on how our farm was like.
Although there was evening brightness showing through the windows, Slim ( main driver of a mule team) and George came into the darkening bunk house together. They played cards together.
Then after that evening, Whit(the ranch-hand) said that the guys usually hang out at the old Susy's place. She would laugh always and crackin with loads of jokes. Her place is clean and has nice chairs. After that nite, the door opened, Lennie and Carlson came in together. Lennie trying to get attention while Carlson reached for his bunk and brought out his bag.
A lot of things happened in this past few days and quite tiring. Anyway I will post more tomorrow ya. I think its enough now.
will update soon.....

hey :D
The entry really was interesting because you described your feelings and how you consoled Candy on the death of his dog.
i think the way that you write and the amount you write really shows how much you understood the book and how much you really payed attention to the little things, i think it is really well done (;

Good job! The whole description is very nice on this one. I saw how it was awkward.
